Researchers use GPU fingerprinting to track users online
- copperwater69 5y agoSo if I run something else on my GPU tracking won't work because the timing would be off?
- tragictrash 5y agoThe article says it's unaffected by other gpu loads on other tabs, but didn't specify on another app running on the computer
- fsflover 5y agoIt seems Qubes Whonix should protect from such fingerprinting, since Qubes uses a software-only (CPU-based) implementation of OpenGL.
- tragictrash 5y agoWouldn't that just give a different fingerprint though
