Somewhere I read it might be linked to bipolar disorder also. I keep getting reminded that various meds used to treat mental illness are antihistamines. I heard from an allergist that they literally cannot evaluate someone for common allergies if they are on the most popular antipsychotic, because it suppresses the skin reaction. Yet it's as if this was in a parallel universe that doesn't affect ours, where "mental illness" is, well, mental.
