This article (and all of the anecdotes surrounding it) has opened my eyes quite a bit. However, it actually reads to me more like a “How to get better at this kind of thing” than a cautionary tale. There are even comments acting as such here. Fraud hurts us all. Even (especially?) the people who think they are benefitting from it.
