I'm sorry but this post is ridiculous. By following the advice in it no one would ever recommend a book that requires knowledge/reasoning skills beyond a high school level. This goes for literature too. I also call bullshit on his definition of "Goals". There are plenty of books whose content is valuable enough that the work put into extracting the information is more than worth the effort. The correct message is to understand who your audience is before you make any recommendations.
