Yep, I had a weird experience at a friends house when his smart TV youtube was playing ads every few minutes, while I was trying to listen to the Dead. Really killed my vibe maan. Apparently it's the uploader's fault for choosing to monetise. I cannot tolerate ads at all now. Part of my issue with them is that you have no control over what you are being shown, obviously. It's the same problem with all the new social media platforms, in general. Anything can popup. And once you've seen something, to cant unsee it.
