Precisely why entrepreneurial movements will always contribute more to society rather than the strong institutional movement we currently have coming from the left.
- bitwize 5y agoThat's not the left, that's the UnitedStatesLeft which is basically the right with better marketing. Left-anarchists oppose ALL forms of power hierarchy, state and corporate alike.
- kelseyfrog 5y agoThe (US)left is an internally fractured group. There are many highly politically engaged US Leftists who would like nothing better than to see the left less represented by institutionalists. This internal division would never make its way to mass media because it isn't in corporate interests to display it. Corporations love strong institutions because businesses are built on the legislative and judicial institutions which create constructs that benefit those same corporations. The end result is that most people see a very watered down version of political views centered on corporate interests regardless of political leanings. There's probably a Chomsky book on this or something.
- the_biot 5y agoIt's not an entrepeneurial movement in the slightest. There is no profit motive.
- empthought 5y agoThe builders of the heaters themselves confess that their work is unnecessary, relative to the more institutionally suited project of housing construction and provision.
