Neat DIY guide Overall. Are there commercial offerings of something similar to this? When I was homeless, I used an MSR international stove for cooking (can use gasoline, kerosene, white gas). It cost me maybe a day or two of day labor to buy it. I know building DIY stuff can be difficult for homeless, whereas coming up with $10 or $30 from doing some odd labor can be easier to come by than acquiring the tools to build things. It'd be cool if they can find a way to sell these. I'd be curious in knowing as well what the risks are from using denatured alcohol. I would be very worried about vaporous methanol contaminating my breathing area, but perhaps that fear is unfounded.
