To save you a click, an app called WAMR logs every notification from apps of your choice (using Android's Notification Listener API). If you're sent a message that results in a notification being posted, then WAMR will log the contents of that notification, including the sender, message content, and any media embedded in the notification.
I downloaded WAMR, and during setup it asks you which apps' notifications to monitor, but I don't think this actually prevents it from logging other notifications on your device. Android 12 introduces more fine-grained notification access controls for notification listeners (FLAG_FILTER_TYPE_CONVERSATIONS, FLAG_FILTER_TYPE_ALERTING, FLAG_FILTER_TYPE_SILENT, and FLAG_FILTER_TYPE_ONGOING) but requires the app target API level 31 in order for the user to make changes.
