The only improvement on that which I've seen is a dishwasher which projects the runtime left onto the floor (instead of just a off/on light).

- frosted-flakes 5y agoWhy can't it just display that on the screen?
- taeric 5y agoMany don't have screens. Buttons are hidden when door is shut.
- avh02 5y agoIn Germany it's fairly usual to have your dishwasher set in to the kitchen cabinets - you wouldn't know which cupboard is the dishwasher half the time. Having it project on to the floor means you don't need to have a screen that can't be seen while the door is closed (ours has buttons and screen on top edge, which you can't see while the door is closed.)
- ThePadawan 5y agoThe siblings have it right - I had to google what a dishwasher with an externally visible screen would even look like.
