Odd that taking the majority view, crammed down our throats from on high on a minute to minute basis, still requires pseudonymity. A post from a doctor on something about professional health care even. Maybe I should have used a throw away account to post this as I hate to lose that precious karma.
No mention of the pseudonym here:

But there is here:

“in bed with big pharma”
It is commonplace for many doctors to proscribe drugs more plentifully than candy. This had a name once. Incentives are there to do this. And besides, few people would question the TV. If the TV says the medicine will cure my rosacea, then I better get my doctor to proscribe it! This is not allowed in most countries. Most counties do not allow ads on tv for proscription medicines.
"So many people outside of the United States were like, what the heck is going on over there in America? Because while there are ads for over-the-counter drugs in most of the world, the U.S. and New Zealand are the only two countries that allow drug companies to advertise prescription drugs directly to consumers." - https://www.npr.org/transcripts/1035147636 https://www.npr.org/transcripts/1035147636
"Inappropriate polypharmacy — the use of excessive or unnecessary medications — increases the risk of adverse drug effects, including falls and cognitive impairment, harmful drug interactions, and drug-disease interactions, in which a medication prescribed to treat one condition worsens another or causes a new one."- https://www.nia.nih.gov/news/dangers-polypharmacy-and-case-deprescribing-older-adults https://www.nia.nih.gov/news/dangers-polypharmacy-and-case-d...
I have friends who have been to a the same doctor I went to before he retired. They have drawers full of drugs. Is that laziness or greed? Medicine used to be about observation, good diet, words that change patients and patients that could follow instruction. It still is. With real doctors and patients that listen. That keeps people out of the hospital. Not telling a patient that his six pack of beer a day habit is going to shorten his life by 20 years is not helping him.
Why say you are sick with Covid19 then go on to say you hate the people that are unvaccinated who are also sick? The fact is, as a doctor you should not be barking at us. You should be barking at the other doctors for not informing their patients on steps they can take to put a stop to this thing before it escalates to an er visit. It is really sad people are not getting effective treatments because they do exist. Playing games saying they don't isn't helping us. The only treatments that are allowed in the system are high priced ones. That's a fact. The only exception to that is diphenhydramine and milk (containing lactoferrin), which for some reason, escaped the scorn of the US media. In the us media there is a insurmountable burden of proof required for treatments but no burden of proof whatsoever on the vaccine drugs.
Find something that works, will not harm, and is cheap. Bonus if it is over the counter. Visteril needs a proscription. Try to be open minded and get more international news. The picture out there isn't like what is is in here.
There are hundreds of leads on solutions in scientific papers and some of them have confirmation studies.

Please don't perpetuate the tired old trope of "back in the day they didn't prescribe so much!!!". The reason doctors are prescribing "more" is that they have multiple decades of research to build on, and the associated available drugs. Not because of some vague conspiracy theory-esque "they just want us to be docile zombies". Modern medicine has helped so many people, myself included.
