As a farmer, what breaking news do you come to HN for? I keep hearing vague murmurs from past colleagues about how agtech is the next big thing so I'm genuinely curious.
- tomcam 5y agoI’ve been a programmer, program manager, investor, and technical writer for 35 years
- monkeybutton 5y agoAnd a farmer as you said before. Would you say the overlap between those two spheres of your life is significant, or no?
- tomcam 5y agoUnlike say music and programming, no. The view from my office and the company of chickens both just bring happiness. Also gorgeous fresh eggs
- monkeybutton 5y agoThat sounds wonderfully pleasant! Thank you for the kind reply.
- tomcam 5y agoDreamed of this life for 50 years and finally achieved it. Wonderful.
- walleeee 5y agothe agtech becoming the next big thing is not the one we need I fear it will likely make some people money though
