People are cleaner. Why not? - Or, you may try and volunteer in a non-profit / charity / political party / art group. This is kind of like work, but with people who are not in it for money so more socializing. There is always some computer stuff to do in these. - Also, you can try teach coding somewhere. You can make teacher friends... More generally "how can I help?" is an easier icebreaker than "will you talk to me?", and literally everyone needs to know someone who can code.
