Would this be enough to accurately simulate lift from an airfoil? Or do you need compressibility for that?
- knolan 5y agoYou don’t need compressible flow to generate lift. Any basic inviscid (Euler) 2D incompressible solver can be used to calculate lift. For drag you need to resolve the boundary layer and solve Navier Stokes.
