Ask HN: Resources for learning about the web and websites

If I wanted to start from absolute scratch learning about how the web and websites function, as if it were the early 90s and work up to the present, what resources do you got for me? I wanna relearn everything, and see where I end up (hopefully outside corporate hegemkny). I wanna learn every basic, 101, "what is a server," "how to build a website from nothing," "what is a computer," etc. Got any resources for me?
