I like it: a cool alternative to the traditional "may have been used for religious or sacramental purposes". Try substituting it in other archaeological write-ups: "the first-dynasty sarcophagus was found alongside a variety of ninja weapon prototypes..."
- usrusr 5y agoWell, but why stop there? > were known to throw makibishi — usually made of metal — while fleeing an enemy on horseback. Horses would step on the spikes, slowing them down and allowing the ninjas to escape. "the first-dynasty sarcophagus was found alongside a variety of Mario Kart weapon precursors..."
