Apple has the resources very few states could justify spending tax dollars to match.
- krisoft 5y agoAbsolutely agree. We can and should expect good things from Apple on the security front. And we should call out where their security fails short of their marketing promises. My comment was only about explaining what makes a state level adversary formidable.
- jakub_g 5y agoOTOH Apple is a public company and whatever they do and spend money on is scrutinized by the shareholders who will calculate ROI and ask questions.
- rapsey 5y agoApple has insane profits and multiple secretive projects only part of the company knows about. Much less their shareholders. They can literally spend tens of billions a year into practically anything without any kind of outside scrutiny.
