That's not indicative of anything. I haven't been keeping up beyond the surface level so I have no idea if these truckers are only protesting mandates or if they're secretly neo-nazis and worse. But I do know that if the government and media wanted to dismiss a protesting group they're nervous about, what they'd do first is villainize them as a fringe group of either crazy people or hateful people or both. That the prime minister calls them a fringe group is not indicative of anything too.
