I personally enjoy that the politicians are surprised at how easily it was to shut down the capital. And how difficult it would be to fight this with a military or police response (though it is early). Their fear though is delicious. PM Trudeau has run away from the Capital it seems (his office is not stating his whereabouts) and that image is just lovely.

- refurb 5y agoYou’re comparing peaceful Canadians protesting to an active shooter who broke into Parliament? And as a fellow Canadian, I can say I’m glad there are still some Canadians with the sand to stand up for what they believe in.

- refurb 5y agoHas there been any official statement? Or is it so super secret they can’t even mention it? Seems like an odd thing to bring up with no proof. And even if they did say that, it’s like the talking heads on CNN - the former intelligence folks from the CIA. “There is evidence of Russian collusion in our election. Proof? Well, it’s a matter of national security so I cant share any details. But trust me! I’ve seen the proof and it’s damming!” That’s exactly what got us into the 2nd Gulf War. “Trust the government, they wouldn’t lie.” No thanks.
