That linked graphic seems to show Burgers is the main go-to in Chicago. That said, I'm a huge fan of Chicago deep dish. I know some don't call that a proper pizza (esp New Yawkers, and I'm in the area), but I do love that Gino's pizza.
- Kon-Peki 5y agoIf I had an office in Manhattan, I’d probably eat NY pizza for lunch at least once every two weeks. Chicago deep dish, on the other hand, is more like a special occasion food. Once a year, twice a year, maybe. But I’ll certainly go on record that the crust on a good Chicago deep dish is the best pizza crust you’ll ever encounter. I love that crunchy texture.
