I don't understand why silly design outcomes like this make me smile, but they make me smile nonetheless. Something about it just manages to tickle both my inner engineer and my inner jester in equal measure.
It's made all the sweeter by the notion that, eventually, someone somewhere will find a way to use this emoji and be completely earnest about it.

- scaredginger 5y agoAgreed, it's an amusing and wholesome story. Shame we live in a world where not everyone agrees. As the author said, > The level of vitriol and outrage I have seen surrounding something as innocuous as an emoji has been awful. The headlines I've noticed that I feel obligated not to link back to, combined with the malice ascribed directly towards people due to their political leaning, gender, or sexual orientation, gave me enough pause to spend my night writing this.
