Freeman Dyson: A ‘Rebel’ Without a PhD (2015)
- jleyank 5y agoIf he so chose, any university would have granted him a real PhD given his track record, work, publications, …. Many thought his synthesis of qed was appropriate for a Nobel but #4 can’t participate. Like Feynman and his stories, people wear their cap cocked as they like and it probably amused Dyson to do so. He worked at the pinnacle of his profession.
