I already had a photo-verified-in-person account with ID.me as part of obtaining my California REAL ID driver's license. This involved a passport, proof of residence address, and in person validation.
Why was that not good enough for IRS?

- hanniabu 5y agoHow else are you able to data mine and milk the government for juicy contracts?
- jimmaswell 5y agoYou had to do the whole verification over again? At least it seems like the IRS registration is good enough to log into SSA.
