As someone that has to interview people quite often I would be completely fine with this, the interviewee should definitely feel free to use it to their advantage. I look at it two ways 1) They knew the answer the first time and thus they still know it now, no need to discount their knowledge 2) They didn’t know the answer the first time and they took the time for their own benefit to figure it out after the interview. This demonstrates some level of accountability that employers appreciate.
