Army wife uses AirTags to track shady movers
- phnofive 5y ago> Eventually, the driver called back and claimed he was with his girlfriend. He told McNulty that he didn't know that she could track her while he was going to "see my lady." He told her that he could make it the next day if he hustled, and she suggested that he did. I wonder if his own iPhone ratted him out, not that it wasn't coming his way.
- webmobdev 5y agoGood idea to use against packers-movers who don't provide real-time tracking (which seems strange - who doesn't provide it in this day and age). I also found it strange that the US Army doesn't use its own logistics service to help its personnel - in the Indian Army, officers are permitted to use the army supply lines to ship their belongings to the new station.
- BizarroLand 5y agoI know a few people in the military and it's hit or miss. If you're a CO then the army will move your stuff or provide a stipend if you prefer external movers or if your move date isn't available. I can't remember if the same holds true for E-rank and NCO's though.
