The real reason is that food is part of the culture, thereby a very slow progression to adapt to the rest of modern world. Besides, once exposed to certain food culture when young, the taste is hard wired for the rest of life. All makes it a rather complex matter to evolve in one life time.
- lordkrandel 5y agoWhile socially tradition and memories clearly play a role, our food taste changes constantly. I grew a taste for fish, vegetables and whiskey - all things that I found disgusting 5 years ago.
