Study suggests dysfunctional communication plays a key role in sexual coe (cont)
- PaulHoule 5y agoWhat I am seeing here is no real answer if you're in the situation where you are interested in sex and your partner is not other than seek gratification outside the relationship. You can say how you feel and they are free to say that they're not in the mood. The article has a lot of empathy for the low-libido person who might be made to feel bad because they have a low libido but there is no acknowledgement of the extreme distress a high libido might have because they have a high libido and be told that they are defective, entitled, an evil male phenotype, etc. You can be in a situation like that and be completely committed to your partner and desirous of giving them love in all the ways they are able to receive it, not think people are disposable and not want to leave yet see their need for security to be a bottomless pit like any addiction and the center of controlling behavior that society seems to valorize.
