- ipspam 5y agoMy understanding is that stable coins are the crypto equivalent of fractional reserve banking, allowing the crypto supply to expand with imaginary crypto in these reserves and stable coins. Of course the government is coming for them! And as a user of crypto, I'm all for it. Crypto is just adapting and becoming traditional banking, one scheme at a time. I'm glad the feds are going to go to war and keep crypto crypto.
