I just recently redid my company's website and used CSS grid this time. Our designer used a grid-based layout as well so it was super easy to lay out elements according to the design. I'm fortunately in a position where we don't need to support every browser under the sun, so using a lot of the modern standards was overall pretty fun. I'm not really a frontend guy so hopefully next time I need to make a website the standards will have advanced even further.
