As far as I checked, BFOQ does not apply to race. Only gender, religion, age or nationality and you must prove it on a case by case bases.

- josephcsible 5y agoThat's what the US Code itself says, but I thought there was a court ruling somewhere that the First Amendment overrode this in the specific case of casting actors for a creative work.
