It means you can pull CO2 out of the air to make biomass (plants), then you can add (renewable) energy to the biomass to make it into fuel. When you burn the fuel, the CO2 is put back into the air.

- usrusr 5y agoBarring any nuclear processes, everything is carbon neutral as long as no fossilized combustibles are taken from the ground and released back into the eternal cycle of carbon neutral processes.
- pfdietz 5y agoOr fossil carbonate. Production of cement releases CO2 even with non-fossil energy.
