- colechristensen 5y agoThere are a few methods out there for synthesizing gasoline equivalents. This fuel: no (possibly in diesel engines, jet fuel has been used but there are issues).
- fy20 5y agoMost diesel engines can run on kerosene just fine, so I expect this would be the same. In fact kerosene is often blended with diesel in cold climates as regular diesel below -25C/0F will start to get thick. The reason why you don't want to use straight kerosene is that it is too pure - diesel has additives that lubricate the engine, without which you will cause more wear and tear on the engine. If that's all you have it'll probably work though, especially if you mix it with a little engine oil.
