What if I like my gas stove?
- bradknowles 5y agoWhat if my gas stove continues to work, even when the power goes out?
- asteroidp 5y agoObviously that makes you a shill rolling in sweet sweet conspiracy money
- Comevius 5y agoThat's not a problem, just pay for the pollution either by renting from the carbon budget the planet can naturally handle or by renting from the decarbonization budget. Better yet your gas company should take care of it and just put it on the bill. That would be the obvious market solution on a spaceship, but not on planet, even though a planet is a spaceship. This also means that there is barely any decarbonization innovation, because you can't do much from donations. We need a market solution for pricing the externalities, no matter how painful it is.
