Apple’s Face ID to unlock the phone even when wearing a mask
- indus 5y agoI thought Face ID used mostly upper half of the face such as eyes, nose, temple to construct an encrypted facial model.
- warning26 5y agoI'll be really curious as to how well this works; certainly it sounds better than the kludgy unlock-with-Apple-Watch solution they deployed earlier. Really, though, it's a shame they won't just go back to Touch ID. I liked it so much better.
