I only 'take notes' before I go to make shopping. For anything else I use my brain. My wife notes all day, any rubbish. She wrote books of notes in years. Why ?

I only 'take notes' before I go to make shopping. For anything else I use my brain. My wife notes all day, any rubbish. She wrote books of notes in years. Why ? I've no idea. Neither does she. She never read them again.
