I have chronic lung issues. It's not snideness. People who use fake masks put my life at risk. I've literally spent the past two years being terrified.
So yes, I do have breathing and anxiety issues, but my breathing issues are because I've crappy lungs, and I'd prefer to _not_ be around those who consider my life less worthy than their own.
- hydrok9 5y agoSorry. I just feel like I've reached a breaking point myself. Honestly, the only reason i don't have an exemption now is because I didn't want to freak other people out, or feel selfish because I don't have a life-threatening condition. I think people like me just can't imagine living this way much longer, my quality of life has truly sucked this year, in particular. But it's not the same as what you have to deal with, genuinely fearing for your life.
- spookthesunset 5y agoYou are vaccinated and boosted. That is what protects you. Not somebody else wearing a mask. It isn’t societies job to cater to fully vaccinated individuals who remain terrified of Covid. Such an expectation is what is truly selfish.
- xdennis 5y agoI am genuinely sorry about your condition, but I can't live my life based on the limitations of others forever.
