All of this, down to the disclaimer, also applies to the ubiquitous normal cloth masks, so it's hardly a strike against them.
- TameAntelope 5y agoIt’s absolutely a strike against them, considering all of that does not apply to normal cloth masks intentionally. The makers of this mask deliberately choose to make a product that does not improve collective safety, and that malicious attitude deserves to be jailed, not rewarded.
- jdminhbg 5y agoNo, it absolutely applies to normal cloth masks. In fact, as far as I can tell, that disclaimer is simply copied and pasted from other sites selling cloth masks, for example: https://teepublic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047284753-Masks-Legal-Disclaimer-for-Customers https://teepublic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047284753...
- TameAntelope 5y agoIt does not apply to "normal" cloth masks, and it's deliberately misleading to say otherwise, because if it were true about "normal" cloth masks, then these masks would not be more breathable.
- jdminhbg 5y agoI don’t know how to be more clear that the disclaimer is the same than to link you to a site selling normal cloth masks with the exact same disclaimer.
- TameAntelope 5y agoAnd I don't know how to be more clear that the disclaimer is not the only set of facts in this situation.
- jdminhbg 5y agoMaybe you should have read up thread to see what I was responding to then? This is a thread about the disclaimer.
- TameAntelope 5y agoNope, it's a thread about how dishonest these mask makers are, considering you're now in my thread.
