This just begs the question why?
It's not the 18th century anyone, if you want to get from A to B there's better ways. Even if you want to go sailing, just go and do it and have it done. This seems like some form of nautical itinerancy.
- monkeynotes 5y agoI am honestly confused by this comment. I am struggling to understand how anyone could miss the point of sailing around the world for no other reason than the experience. The journey is the destination is an idiom for a reason.

- andygroundwater 5y agoIn the words of the late Dr. Johnson, "No man will be a sailor who has contrivance enough to get himself into jail; for being in a ship is being in a jail, with the chance of being drowned".
- wlll 5y agoCan you really not think up any reason people might want to do this?
- pcl 5y ago> This seems like some form of nautical itinerancy. Yes, this is exactly one of the reasons people do this.
