I finally upgraded to Monterey from Mojave this past weekend. I somehow didn’t get the memo that it was no longer getting security updates until my head security engineer said it last week
- tempodox 5y agoDoes everything still work that used to work on Mojave? Any changes in bugginess?
- spectre3d 5y agoOne reason I keep a High Sierra + Mojave machine around is that 32-bit apps will not run on anything after Mojave. This includes Catalina, Big Sur, and Monterey. If you’re using old versions of Office, Adobe CS5 or CS6, or if you need the functionality of QuickTime Player 7 then you’ll need to find other options. For example, there is no other app for Mac that handles the assembly of time lapses with the simplicity and speed of QT7. Many apps will do it, but in a more cumbersome way.
- bluedemon 5y agoI noticed it last week. I finally have the time today to upgrade my macbook pro 2015 to Monterey. Hoping things go smooth.
