Ask HN: App Subscriptions in India–do they work?
I am an aspiring app entrepreneur and would love to hear, if anyone shares a perspective on How viable Subscriptions are in India for app monetizing, as I hear lots of smartphone users lack credit cards down there
- OJFord 5y agoNot Indian/living in India, but I believe the norm is to pay via premium rates on mobile phone plan? This used to be common here in the UK too, for ringtones & flash games & wallpapers etc. before 'apps' were really around, as they are.
