If you need a blockchain bring it to a server farm somewhere where energy is cheap, DigitalOcean will just eat up all your profit.
If you need a database PostgreSQL can serve a lot more than a thousand users for a price of a salami sandwitch. Need tamper protection? Use immudb. Same salami sandwitch plus cryptographic verification. It's like a blockchain, but without all the blood.
