Thanks! > Not the most conventional choice. Yeah... :) To be clear we've already started rewriting parts of core EdgeDB in Rust with the goal to rewrite the IO server in the next year. Some less performance-critical parts of it will stay in Python though for the foreseeable future or until we have more resources.
