- infamouscow 5y agoThe pandemic affected every person on Earth. Millions have died -- yet we shouldn't understand the true origins because it's uncomfortable? Give me a break.
- sschueller 5y agoBlame isn't what we need. New regulations for such labs and oversight for the future so this never happens again is what we need. We might never truly know but we do know that such accidents do happen and we need to do everything we can to try to prevent it.
- Nasreddin_Hodja 5y ago> we Why you think that you can talk on everyone's behalf?
- EricE 5y agoBlame isn't what we need? There were already regulations banning what happened between us and the Wuhan lab - and there is already "oversight" of the NIH - fat lot of good that did to prevent this research from happening. Research the military/DARPA turned down because they deemed it too dangerous(!) What's really needed is effective oversight followed up with accountability and enforcement of existing regulation, not more empty gestures and handwaving for new regulations and "oversight" that will change nothing. Rules without accountability or enforcement are just wishes. At some point you need to go beyond empty words and actually do something. That Fauci and others aren't already under a serious investigation tells you all you need to know about how effective your new regulations and oversight will be :p
- GenerocUsername 5y agoOur research to 'save lives' has now cost millions of lives and trillions of dollars... Perhaps the research is not worth it. But that will never come up if we allow the coverup to obscure the truth
