Seen from a distance, it looks like a non-sequitur of sorts.
I mean:
>Once I had enough money for around 6 months, I finally quit my job.
How much time has passed since? (like three days, three weeks, three months)
What is the plan when the 6 months elapse?
Or, if you prefer, is the whole idea a radical change of the way of living or some sort of sabbatical?
- plemaster 5y agoOkay I see. I didn't want to spend too much time on the "how I quit my job" because my main objective here was why I think people should take a shot on their dreams at least once. The idea around my 6 months of runway was to give myself a deadline such that once the time is complete, I could say "okay this isn't working, I need to find a job" or "this is going great, let's keep at it." Thanks for the feedback!
- jaclaz 5y agoYep, but, you see, it is not like a "success story" (so that you can actually say "you should do it", or - possibly better - "it worked for me") nor a "defeat story" (so that you actually can say "you shouldn't do it" or - again possibly better - "it didn't work for me"), right now it is just "I did something, I have no idea what will happen next, you should do the same" which - put in these terms - doesn't sound like "good" advice.
