The landing page seems to rely heavily on:
- Users’ familiarity with Coda as a reference point for its increased quality
- Statements about the hard work that’s gone into it
I say this as a huge Panic fan. It just felt ‘off’ to me, like the initial arguments for trying it are “look how hard we tried” and “it’s better than our old product”.
This may be an unfair assessment but it’s what stood out for me.
Having said all of this, I’ll still give it a go!
- koenbok 5y agoAlthough the page does rely a bit on things that mostly Mac fans will appreciate, I didn’t have the same impression. It’s fun to see how true Panic stays to their craft and it’s great to have the best native benchmark out there to compare to cross platform (web) approaches.
