It sometimes manifests as audio stuttering (the kind which sounds like unstable sample rate) which suggests a lot of context switching, perhaps a scheduler problem. Had this problem intermittently and seemingly at random for many years. Sometimes would happen all day, then nothing for months. Quite Bizarre.
