- Minor49er 5y agoThis is a very short post, but basically, yes. This is quite common, especially with regards to UI redesigns. Sometimes, companies will redesign an interface to make it easier or more accessible for newer users at the cost of removing complicated features or shortcuts that are beneficial to fewer power users. Sometimes that tradeoff is deliberate; the company will expect to lose those users in hopes of gaining more overall.
