People are already starting to debunk various bits and pieces of this article. For my part, let's look at Eric Clapton--the article claims that he has "lost the use of his hands almost completely" after getting the AZ vaccine. To be fair, the article does mention that he's had progressive peripheral neuropathy, but it doesn't mention that he's had it at since at least 2013 [0], it had gotten much worse in 2016 [1] and that by 2017 it had gotten so bad that he was bound to a wheelchair [1]. Did the AZ vaccine make his symptoms worse? I don't know; but minimizing the fact that he had a serious and apparently progressively worse symptoms for at least eight years before the vaccine seems a little disingenuous. The article also doesn't mention that Clapton was extremely vocal in his early opposition to Covid restrictions, has released at least three "anti-lockdown" protest songs including ones that compared lockdowns to slavery. [3] He's also repeated the "mass formation hypnosis" conspiracy theory. [4] It really feels like he's gone down a wormhole here. As a bonus, here's an very recent interview of Clapton. [5] While his nerves may be so damaged that he can no longer play guitar, claiming "lost the use of his hands almost completely" seems to mischaracterize things as well, seeing as how he uses his hands throughout the interview.
