I found this project last week and I've been using it for a few days. In the past, I've used Trello to manage my tasks but I've always hated having to use a web browser and rely on the Cloud for this stuff. Instead, I tended to use pen-and-paper but that's not easy to organize or search.
In my digging, I realized that I just want a stupid simple Markdown file. The self-hosted tools I found were all too "web-scale" with Postgres databases and Docker-Compose. Plus, I couldn't use it on my phone unless I setup a box in the Cloud for it...
That's why, when I found this simple tool, I got excited. It's a simple Markdown file so that it works with Dropbox on my phone. I can easily edit it by hand on mobile and have it sync with my computer. And if I need to share my TODO list with somebody non-technical, it's easily understandable.
Press `?` in the app to view the list of commands. This has been working really well for me so far! Cheers
