What is the cost difference between the Hetzner dedicated machine and an equivalent EC2 instance?
- Nextgrid 5y agoFrom a resources (CPU/RAM/disk/bandwidth) per buck, the difference is extreme. ~50 bucks a month on Hetzner will give you 8 cores (real ones, not vCPUs), 32-64 GB of RAM, several hundred gigs of SSD and 1Gbps unmetered bandwidth. The same on AWS will probably be ~150 bucks just for CPU & RAM alone, excluding storage and bandwidth.
