technically Waste heat from pipes is from insufficiently insulated pipes..
The trade of is between the cost of more efficient insulation and making use of leaking heat due to inadequate insulation.
- chipsa 5y agoWell... maybe. If your pipe is carrying waste heat to a radiator of some sort (cooling tower or whatever), insulation doesn't matter, because the heat is going to escape to the environment anyway.
